Russian econ min can offer to control households’ spending

MOSCOW, Jun 27 (PRIME) -- The Economic Development Ministry is considering control over Russians’ spending as a measure to fight the black economy, Deputy Director of an Investment Policy Department Bella Panina said at a conference on Thursday.

“We think we will offer – we are preparing a report on legalization of business for a meeting of the State Council – to consider introducing controls over spending, the income and spending ratio,” Panina said.

She did not elaborate, saying that the idea is a raw sketch.
